How to Love Your Loom & Tide Garments

Keep your pieces soft, fresh, and long lasting with these simple care steps. 

Before first use

It is recommended to wash your Loom & Tide garment before its initial wear. A gentle wash helps soften the cotton and removes any remaining finishing agents from production.

Washing

Use a gentle machine wash at 20–30°C.
Wash like colours together.
Use a mild detergent.
Do not use chlorine bleach on colours.
Whites only: use non-chlorine, oxygen-based bleach if needed.
Limit fabric softener, since it can reduce absorbency.

Drying
Line dry and keep out of direct sunlight when possible.
If tumble drying, choose low heat.
Do not dry clean unless the label specifically allows it.

Ironing
Iron only if needed.
Use a warm to cool setting to avoid flattening the waffle weave.

Stains
Treat stains promptly with a gentle stain remover.

Caution
Avoid contact with hair dyes or products containing benzyl peroxide, since they may permanently discolor cotton.
